One for the collectors and sweater enthusiasts. Rare and iconic 100% cashmere sweater by Scottish born designer, Valerie Louthan. Valeries cashmere designs were at their height in the 1980s, this is an earlier example of her work dating back to early to mid 1970's. In a creamy caramel brown, this sweater moulds to your body perfectly, one of the more striking pieces of cashmere design I have seen. Square neckline, large leg of mutton sleeve with long fitted cuffs. An exquisite piece of textiles history. There are a couple tiny pinholes that have been repaired, which in no way deter from how incredible this sweater is. Label says Valerie Louthan for N.
