Incredibly stunning Laura Ashley, these early black label Laura Ashleys are increasingly rare to find. Maxi pinafore dress in a deep purple with the deer and lion heraldic print, also known as the mythical beasts print. Hand printed on thick weight 100% cotton, empire style waist, full circle skirt, there is so much fabric to this dress it is divine. An 18cm hem enables you to make the dress longer if so desired. There is one faint mark to the front of the dress, difficult to photograph, otherwise in gorgeous condition for it's age. Made In Wales black label, late 1960's. This print in this colour and style are incredibly rare and considered a collectors item.
